Day 3 : Trip to Beijing
|
|
Day 3, utk perjalanan hari ni, mula2 kami di bawa ke jade centre n crystal centre.. Mmg rambang biji mata tgok jade & crystal mengerlip2.. Seolah2 sume nya melambai2 minta di beli la.. Hahaha..
Ok, the most exciting part of the journey.. Climbing the Great Wall.. Yehaaa!!. Sampai2, mmg excited giler.. Pemandangan mmg marveles.. Great Wall ni byk pintu masuk.. Kami masuk ikut JuYong Pass.. Tangga dia, masyallah.. ada yg pendek, ada yg tinggi.. yg pasti penat (stamina x cukup).. hampir2 gak lak tekad x nak kasi abis.. tapi akhirnya dapat gak naik sampai kubu paling bawah.. (erkkk bawah ker, kalau tgok pic, x macam paling bawah pon).. hahaha.. tapi bila sampai kat atas.. scenery dia mmg mengagumkan.. Indah sungguh bumi Allah S.W.T.. Kepuasan yg tak terungkap.. Walaupun nampak cam panas.. tapi angin kuat gak.. sume nya indah la kat Great Wall ni.. tapi ada gak manusia yg x bertamadun .. kencing merata2.. hancing siot... but watever it is.. u guys should go n experience it urself.. mmg tmpt ni marveles.. the architecture, the scenery... no wonder Great Wall is one of the 7 Wonders of the world..
Perjalanan terkahir utk day 3 ni, ke Dr Tea House.. mcm2 tea, aneka rasa.. but no sugar will be added.. hahaha..
| Quote: | | For foreign visitors, it is said that if one has not climbed the Great Wall, one has not been to China. For the Chinese, it is said that a true Chinese is one who has seen the Great Wall. |
Turun dari Great Wall.. sempat la kami ni amik gambar utk certificate.. 100 Yuan jer.. Diorg bagi pakai baju tradisional cina mcm maharaja n maharani.. merasa la aku jadi org cina jap.. hahaha..
The Great Wall was the greatest manmade military defense structure in ancient China. Its construction started during Ancient Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring Stated Period (770-221 B.C.) At that time, walls were built by some warring states to protect their own territories. In 221 B.C., Qin Shihuang, who became the first emperor of a unified China, linked the separate walls into a ¡°ten-thousand-li wall¡± to defend against invaders from the North. From then on, the Great Wall was continuously extended and repaired by following dynasties. Most of wall has deteriorated badly; at present, the best preserved is the wall built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)).
The Ming Dynasty Wall stretches from the Yalu River in Liaoning Province in the east to Jiayuguan Pass in Gansu Province in the west, a length of more than 6,000 kilometers. It runs through 5 provinces, 2 autonomous regions and 2 municipalities in the Northern China.

Tiananmen Square
Monument to the People's Heroes, Tiananmen Square
| Quote: | Tiananmen Square is the large plaza near the center of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace) which sits to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City. It has great cultural significance as a symbol because it was the site of several key events in Chinese history.
The square is 880 metres south to north and 500 metres east to west, a total area of 440,000 square meters, which makes it the largest open-urban square in the world.
Enlarged in 1949 to the current size, its flatness is broken only by the 38 metre high Monument to the People's Heroes and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. The square lies between two ancient, massive gates: the Tian'anmen to the north and the Zhengyangmen, better known as Qianmen to the south. Along the west side of the Square is the Great Hall of the People. Along the east side is the National Museum of China. Chang'an Avenue, which is used for parades, lies between the Tian'anmen and the Square. Trees line the east and west edges of the Square, but the square itself is open, with neither trees nor benches. Link |
Imperial Garden, Forbidden City
| Quote: | The Forbidden City was the Chinese Imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China. It now houses the Palace Museum.
The complex consists of 800 buildings with 8,886 rooms and covers 720,000 square metres. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 as the "Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties",and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
The Palace Museum in the Forbidden City is not the same as the National Palace Museum in Taipei. They descend from the same institution, but were split after the Chinese Civil War. Link |
The Capital Museum
| Quote: | The Capital Museum, which re-opened on December 19,2006 is now located at 16 Fuxingmenwai Road in west Beijing. Formerly housed in the Confucius Temple on Guozijian Road, the museum pays tribute to Beijing life in bygone eras.At a cost of 1.23 billion yuan (US$147 million), the new venue can accommodate 2,000 visitors daily.
With a floor area of more than 60,000 square meters, Capital Museum is second only to the National Museum of China in terms of size. To see all the exhibitions in the new museum, it would take at least four or five hours.
There are 5,622 items on display, almost 10 times the number of exhibits displayed at the old venue.
Construction on the new museum started four years ago. The Beijing municipal government decided that a bigger venue was necessary to put on display more of the museum's 200,000 relics. Link |

Ikut schedule.. Trus ke Summer Palace dgn tak mandi nya.. Kat cni pemandangan mmg cantik.. Tasik buatan manusia .. Luas sgt.. Cuaca sejuk dan berangin walaupun suhu mencecah 35C.. Sume indah dan cantik2 belaka kecuali toilet.. dah ler beratur panjang.. pastu kotor.. Yg ni mmg sgt menjelikkan.. nasib baik la "terpaksa" masuk gak.. huhuuhhuuu..
Lepas Summer Palace, kami dibawa ke Pearl Centre.. teruja nya bila tgok sume pearl kat sana.. b4 beli diorg buat briefing dulu pasal pearl2 yg ada... So pearl2 ni sume dari tiram yg dibela dlm tasik di Summer Palace.. kira2nya tiram air tawar la.. berbeza ngan tiram dari Jepun tu...
After Pearl Centre, kami g makan n check in hotel.. GuangYun Hotel..
Lewat ptg , keluar lagi.. kali ni ke Kungfu Theather.. nak tgok acrobatic show.. penuh sbb peak season.. nasib baik la sempat masuk walaupun duduk kat tangga jer.. acrobatic show ni mmg mempesonakan.. sejam tapi rasa x puas lak tgok.. after that , kitorg g makan malam pulak... zzZZZZ
